Got the car back in time to meet friends for lunch at The Whole Ox Deli. Our last visit was for dinner which was spectacular and since we already sampled some of Chef McNee's lunchtime faire, I knew we wouldn't be disappointed. We started with a round of Prosecco glitzed with candied hibiscus blossoms. Okay, I wouldn't do this with vintage Champagne but since Prosecco is as affordable as bubbly gets, this approach livens your glass of bubbly!
The Mrs wanted to have the burger again but mixed it up with the Reuben with house made pastrami.
We also sampled the barley salad
While I selected the Falafel Sandwich... WHAT? Veggie sandwich at The Whole Ox! Well, Yelpers have given it rave reviews and it's filled with the fried kale and harissa sauce. ONO!
And since we still haven't sampled everything on the menu, we'll be back... really soon!
