Late Dinner @ Indigo

We popped in after our wine tasting for a late dinner at Indigo. Monsieur K said that Chef McGee's Jook was to die for and I knew that the menu was totally revamped when Chef McGee joined the team after Indigo's reopening following the fire/water damage to the restaurant. I actually still have my Groupon which had its promotional value extended due to the restaurant closure. I started with a Bombay Sapphire Martini.

We then moved on to an array of small plates starting with the Duck Mu Shu Rolls

Moving on to the Goat Cheese Wontons with four fruit sauce

The Golden Shrimp Lumpia with chipotle aioli

The Lobster Potstickers with tangerine sauce

The Lamb Siu Mai also with tangerine sauce

And the Seared Ribeye Poke... never mind roasted ribeye, sear it and make poke. It's WAY BETTER!

The resident chef also treated us to the Grilled Monchong with potatoes and long beans

The girls weren't finished yet so they ordered an assortment of desserts including the Steamed Ginger Creme Brulee

The Double Double Chocolate Torte

And this stuff... I forgot what it was

A nice change from our usual Vino meals (the Mrs actually intended on having dinner at Vino but when we ran into the K's, they suggested Indigo since it was right around the corner). And we'll be back. Well, we have to return so I can use my Groupon. And so the Mrs can sample the larger plates... plus more seared ribeye poke...
