Vino, Part Due

As you probably already know, Vino reopened just across the walkway at Waterfront Plaza in the old Bonsai space on October 1st. Because we were in Vino withdrawals for almost 5 months, we naturally have been back since their re-opening several times. Make that more than several times. Like nineteen times! NINETEEN! WHEW!

Of course, I've only posted a handful of visits since they've re-opened not wanting to bore you with thrice weekly visits to Vino but they do now have a dedicated pizza oven which Chef Keith and his staff having mastered with these pizza specials...

Traditional Neopolitana...

With Boquerones or pickled white anchovies...

With that Sunny Side front and center...

Another Neopolitana...

With braised short rib...

 With Italian sausage...

With short rib and sunny side...

And one of our favorites,... with house cured pastrami and mustard aioli...

They also now offer both dried and fresh pasta courses but of of our favorites is the Bolognese with Italian sausage...

Along with the short rib ragu topped with a sunny side...

And because Chuck is trying to support local farmers, they offer several vegetable selections including the grilled bok choy (one of my faves)... with shaved pastrami...

Along with the Hauula tomato salad (another fave)... topped with crisp chicharones...

So if you haven't stopped by since their re-opening, I would highly recommend a visit... and they are now open 6 days a week (only closed on Mondays).
