B-Day Dinner @ Ruby Tuesday

Well it was Mom's B-Day last week but with Joint Commission doing their inspection at work, we put off dinner until the weekend. I assumed Mom just wanted to go to Zia's Caffe again but no, she opted for Ruby Tuesday at Windward Mall.

We started with a couple of appetizers including the Thai Phoon Shrimp... ok flavor though the batter comes right off as soon as you hit it with your fork...

The Italian Sausage Fried Ravioli served with marinara and parmesan cream... these were actually pretty and didn't just taste like frozen Gino's pizza rolls...

And fries for both the Mrs and Mom (Mom also wanted to dine in AC and Zia's caffe is open air)...

I sampled a brewskie with the apps, a Ruby Red Ale... I wonder if a local brewery is brewing this specifically for Ruby Tuesday?...

A smiling photo of the B-Day girl! Believe me, it's not very easy to get Mom to smile for ANY photograph... she usually just looks _issed off...

Mom's New Orleans Seafood with tee-la-pee-ah and shrimp with a cream sauce with baked spaghetti squash and steamed broccoli... she finished almost everything on her dish!

The Mrs' Bourbon BBQ Salmon with steamed broccoli... she also wanted grilled zucchini but we were informed that they were out so she opted for fries as her 2nd side... she also ordered a baked potato but were informed that they just started a batch that would take 40 minutes...

And my Chicken Katsu Moco with sauce demi... the batter also fell off of the chicken as soon as tried to cut it though the sauce demi and rice were very good...

The girls still had room for dessert so Mom had the Ice Cream Pie...

While the Mrs had a special dessert with brownies and candied bacon and ice cream...

After the locust swarm... also known as the two Mrs T's...

They don't have any of the USDA Prime selections anymore and while the service was good, they were missing several items on the menu. I'm not sure if the losses that Ruby Tuesday's parent company is suffering Stateside is also affecting their inventory levels... But since they're at the Mall and they are air conditioned, we'll probably be back in the future...
