Restaurant Week @ Vino



Because we had to make a delivery to Vino on Wednesday, we thought, why not also have a quick dinner since we're already there? And since it was Restaurant Week where a portion of the tab goes to the culinary programs at the local Community Colleges, it was a win-win situation for all involved!

After the Mrs started with her Aperol Spritz and we were served the basic frittata amuse bouche...


Vino's special multi-course meal looked like this:

OK Farms egg, lemon ricotta & brown butter

Organic Chicken Confit
truffle gnocchi, swiss chard, roasted mushrooms

Espresso Panna Cotta
Kahlua crème anglaise & chocolate gelato


Of course, I had to have my meal with the wine pairings of the evening...


Of course, Vino also offered their usual specials and on this night, they had a Porchetta which we also HAD to sample...


And the Mrs also had to have their usual Pear Strawberry Crostata...


While i simply finished with my usual Negroni...


Another great meal at Vino made even more satisfying by knowing some of the proceeds benefits the future chefs in the 50th and beyond...
