Today's negroni is the Negroni D'Amore courtesy of Jeff Faile, Regional Director for Sales and Marketing of KO Distilling. He originally used Ransom Old Tom gin - I exhausted both bottles of Old Tom gin that I used to have on hand (Ransom and Haymans) - Old Tom gins are usually a little sweeter. Therefore I simply used BCN gin from Spain. The original recipe also calls for Kina "'Avion D'Or - I just used what I had on hand - Kina L'Aero D'Or... Salud!
1.5oz Old Tom gin
1oz Barolo Chinato
1oz Kina L'Aero D'Or
Stir with ice then strain into a rocks glass, express the oil then drop an orange peel in the glass.
