We had brunch again at Podmore mainly because we had a gift card that was a little over a year old - Hawaii law requires businesses to honor gift cards for at least 2 years though Podmore stated that they didn't place any expiration on their gift cards. But we've forgotten about many gift cards so decided that we should put this gift card to good use...
As usual, we started with a round of cocktails with the Razzle Bazzle for Ms S with vodka, Aperol, raspberry and basil...
And Granny's Tea for me with tequila, Earl Grey tea, lemon, chocolate bitters and egg white...
We also sampled the Rock Cakes with our cocktails...
Ms S also needed her caffeine fix with the Cold Brew...
Then selected the Tagliatelle Carbonara made with fresh pasta and their house cured bacon... It was luscious and creamy and Ms S boxed half of it so she could also sample dessert...
While I decided to go healthy with the Mediterranean Salad (mainly because I had my eye on one of their dessert selections)...
Served with BreadShop bread for the hummus...
Ms S then ordered the Sticky Toffee Pudding... the Salted Caramel Sauce is the BOMB!
While I "HAD" to sample the Italian Toast which was made with caramelized panettone on a vanilla creme... I ALWAYS have to get my panettone fix during the holidays!...
Because we were celebrating a belated anniversary, we were served complimentary Fizzical Therapys (junmai sake, yuzu & Champagne syrup)...
Once again, we had an excellent meal with great service so yes, we'll be back...
