On day #5 of Negroni Week 2024, we have a French Connection which uses Citadelle gin (I only have the Citadelle Reserve gin which I don't use for cocktails so I substituted Botanist) and a sweeter style of white vermouth, vermouth de Chambery plus an alternate bitter, Bonal which has a caramel-like bittersweet flavor.
A Voitre Sante!
1.5oz gin
1oz vermouth de Chambery
1oz Bonal
Stir over ice then strain into a coupe and garnish with an orange peel
