Lunch @ The Alley Restaurant Bar & Grill

Since we'll be busy with the CSW exam and the Pop-Up Dinner over the next month or so, we had Mom's B-Day meal a little early. Mom used to select fancier restaurants for her B-Day meal in the past. Then she decided she didn't want to "dress up" for a meal and started down-scalin' to Chili's and Ruby Tuesdays. We're scalin' back even more this year since the meal was at a bowling alley. Well actually, The Alley is a full service restaurant with house faves like their Tasty Chicken and Lemon Crunch Cake so maybe we're side scalin'. Mom as usually went for a glass of Chardonnay.

Since this is a bowling alley, I chose beer instead of wine and started with the Chimay

The Mrs selected the Stella Artois on tap but auwe! None on tap that day so she also chose a Chimay

Of course, you gotta have the Crispy Fries (I originally intended on bringing a little bottle of truffle oil to drizzle but left it at home).

Mom as usual ordered the Coca Cola Turkey Sandwich... I don't think she's ever ordered anything else.

The Mrs followed Mom's lead and had the Coca Cola Turkey Salad. I'm not sure what's the big deal with the turkey for Mom because while it is very tender, it seems like this can be made at home.

I had the Mix Plate with Boneless Kalbi and Salmon with brown rice. The kalbi was ok and the salmon was good though since The Alley requires a trek over the H-3 and the parking is tight to say the least, I'll reserve future visits just for Mom's sake.
