Pre Wicked dinner @ Le Guignol



Since the performance wasn't until 8:00pm and Le Guignol was right across the street from the Blaisdell Concert Hall, we decided to have dinner before the show. We started with some celebratory Champagne (since it almost was K's B-Day) and uncorked a Deutz Brut Classic (from the Iolani Palace Royal Ball).


Then went immediately to a 1992 Henri Goutourbe Collection Rene Grand Cru


We started with Vichyssoise


Escargot


And the Shrimp and Asparagus Salad


Then progressed to the Choucroute


And the Sole Meuniere


Of course, since we had about 25 minutes to spare, we also uncorked an Egly-Ouriet Extra Brut V.P. Grand Cru


With the Chocolate Mousse


Olive Oil Cake


And Creme Brulee


And just as we were exiting Le Guignol, we heard the 5 minute warning from the Concert Hall to "please be seated"...
