Thanksgiving @ Hiroshi Euasion Tapas

Since Mom was the only one left in the house with the holiday family exodus, we decided to simply have the holiday dinner at Hiroshi Eurasion Tapas. Mom initially wanted to just do take-out from Kin Wah but said it would be "lonely" with just the three of us so she decided on a restaurant since other diners present would make it "seem" like we were at a party. Okay. Anyway I started with a Ginger Martini with gin and ginger liquer.

While the women had the Lychee Gin Fizz

I then ordered a bottle of the 2009 Broadside Wild Ferment Chardonnay

We started with a round of the Duo of Contemporary Sushi which include miso salmon and cold smoked hamachi (Mom enjoyed this for the 2nd time though she doesn't remember sampling it last year).

We all ordered Hiroshi's special Thanksgiving four course dinner which started with Seared Mekajiki with turkey guisantes sauce

Then the Turkey Bacon Potstickers with Salad Greens and Spicy Aioli

The entree course was either the Roasted Turkey Breast with Quinoa Dressing which the women chose

Or the Mahimahi Katsu on Pasta Puttanesca which I chose (and I think it was better than the roasted turkey)

The meal finished with Apple Cinnamon Rolls with ice cream - this should go on the regular dessert menu since it looked huge but was very light and flavorful!

I finished the meal with some Brachetto brought by our server

Another great meal at Hiroshi - which we don't often enjoy since we're usually at the sister restaurant, Vino.
