Mother's Day dinner @ Ruby Tuesday

Once again, the Mrs worked over the weekend so Mom decided on a simple dinner for Mother's Day instead of simply going to brunch with yours truly. I assumed so would select Zia's Caffe again but no, this year it was Ruby Tuesday.

As usual, we started with a round of cocktails, the Hard Plantation Tea for the Mrs...

While I chose the Top Shelf frozen Margarita...

We then sampled the Philly Cheesesteak Potstickers... a new item, they appeared deflated but they had the flavor of a cheesesteak...

And the Egg Rolls... both Mom and the Mrs enjoyed these crispy goodies...

For the mains, Mom selected the Fried Chicken Mac-n-Cheese... she said it needed more chicken...

While the Mrs selected the full rack of ribs...

And I sampled the Chicken Fresco...

At this point, I was a little full because I ordered Mom a 2nd glass of Chardonnay which she hardly touched (she probably had a couple glasses before we picked her up) so I mixed it with my margarita... the newly created Chardonnay sangria was better than drinking the Chardonnay as is...

But the women still had room for dessert so they selected the Skillet Cookie with bacon and candied bacon crumbles... and it was pretty tasty...

So Happy Mother's Day Mom... yes, she doesn't look very happy in the photo but it's very rare to get a picture of Mom actually smiling... she usually either looks confused or pissed...
