Mother's Day dinner @ Ruby Tuesday

It took Mom quite a while to decide where she wanted to dine on Mother's Day. She finally called me on the morning of and said she decided on Gyotaku in Aikahi... the only problem... Gyotaku closed their Aikahi location quite a while ago. And Mom didn't want to dine in town as there was some show she wanted to watch at 7pm. So we went to her 2nd choice, Ruby Tuesday in the Mall...

We started with a round of beverages, an 8oz (RT's offers wine in 5oz and 8oz servings) Kendall Jackson Chardonnay for Mom and a 20oz Samuel Adams 76 for me...

I then ordered the appetizer assortment platter with crispy chicken, onion rings and cheese dip...

Along with the fried cauliflower with orange sauce (Mom likes anything fried)...

Since RT's had their summer BBQ specials, Mom selected the mixed platter with 2 BBQ ribs, 1 spicy hot link, brisket and BBQ baked beans...

While the Mrs selected the hickory BBQ salmon...

And I had the BBQ brisket sandwich...

Mom was so busy talkin' about upcoming living arrangements that she hardly consumed any of her dinner. In fact, she was simply planning on her boxing her whole dinner but I convinced her to at least take a bite of each fixin' while it was still warm... Oh well, at least she has dinner for the next 2 evenings...
