Today's Negroni variant... what? This early? Hey, I took the day off and it's 5pm somewhere on the planet... is the Bijou which is the basic Negroni with one major change, the Campari is swapped out for Green Chartreuse plus a couple dashes of orange bitters are added to the cocktail. Whereas Campari is bitter first with secondary herbal qualities, Green Chartreuse has a pronounced herbal quality with secondary bitterness... but also makes a mighty fine Negroni variant...
