Sunday Shopping @ the Windward Mall Farmers Market

Every Sunday at Windward Mall, the weekly Farmers Market is open from 10:00am until 2:00pm (it's also held every Wednesday from 2:00pm until 6:00pm though not all vendors are present) so Ms S shops regularly especially since Sweet Revenge features their tasty miniature pies only on Sundays. You can Google the story of how Kathy Masunaga started baking and also visit her website to see where "Pinky", her pink food truck will be located during the week - she normally is at the Sunday Windward Mall Farmer Market but won't be there this coming Sunday (not sure if it's because this Sunday is Superbowl Sunday and pies aren't on many people's tailgate list). On alternate Sundays, we sampled the...

Raspberry Custard Pie...
The Fruit Salad Pie...
The Lil Jack Horner Plum Pie...
The Lilimansi Pie...
The Fresh Mango Pie...
And the Pineapple Right Side Up Pie...
Most of the pies are the size of those supermarket frozen pot pies and usually run between $12 to $13 - I actually prefer her savory pies like the Chicken Enchilada and Pastele Pie as I don't really have a sweet tooth but her dessert pies are also very good...

There's also a vendor that sells Filipino food, bento style in those clear plastic "clamshell' containers so Ms S got some Pancit and Lechon...
There's also another vendor that sells Chinese and Thai food so Ms S sampled some of their food...
And because KBay Bros is located right next to Windward Mall, Ms S also had to fulfill her weekly poke fix with...

Fresh Ahi, Ginger Scallion Tataki and Paina Poke...
As well as...

Salmon and Tofu Poke and some Inari Crab Bombs...
Plus...

Boiled Peanuts and Pipikaula...
Okay, I think this should carry us through breakfast, lunch and dinner...
