Takeout From the YumYum TumTum Food Truck

Thus far, we've made three trips to the YumYum TumTum food truck which originally started with just a single weekly visit to Kaneohe. They originally parked between the Windward Mall and Zippy's on Mehana St but because of the extensive renovation of the old Macy's space (rumor has it that everything from Planet Fitness to Foodland Farms will move into the space but no one knows for sure... ), parking is very tight in that area so they seem to have settled on Alaloa St behind Windward Mall and the Plaza. Our first takeout included the Lechon Plate with tender and crisp pork belly...
The Munggo Bean Soup...
And the BBQ Chicken plate - the chicken has a slightly different flavor than the usuall BBQ chicken found at other plate lunch establishments with a touch of vinegar and a little more sweetness...
Our second takeout included the Pinakbet seasoned with lechon...
And the Pancit with loads of cabbage which I enjoyed...
And just yesterday, Ms S sampled their Mixed Plate with Pork Guisantes (pork and peas), pork adobo and pancit - the pork was very tender in both dishes...
While I did a repeat with the BBQ Chicken plate. YumYum TumTum now parks their truck in Kaneohe three days a week still going to Bellows Air Force Station on weekends. And yes, we'll be back as we still need to sample the lumpia and Ms S wants to sample the Adobo Moco...
